Day 1

Our First day is a semi long day as we have to get up early and head down to the border, we will stop and exchange some pocket change to Mexican pesos. We will ride through downtown Tijuana to get to the toll road that is on the coast. Usually in the morning its pretty easy going out of the city, but sometimes we do hit traffic. But once we hit the highway we ride the coast south towards Ensenada. We will stop and grab lunch here or further south, I know I great taco stop down the ways that always has amazing cheap tacos! Our first destination is Hotel Misión Santa María, right on the pacific coast, the beach is beautiful and the sound of the waves crashing at night is amazing.

Day 2

After a great first day of riding and a magical sunset off the pacific coast, its time to cut across Baja and head South East. We will ride with a view of the coast for a few miles before cutting inland and over a small mountain range that takes us to El Rosario, the first checkpoint of the original Baja 1000 race. If you are riding a small tank bike, we will fill you up here as the next fuel stop is a ways away. The middle of our ride will have us go up an epic mountain range, about 3000ft of elevation before riding through the plateau of the central mountain range of Baja California. Here the views are amazing and the terrain is drastically different from the coastal side. Our nights destination is my favorite town of Bahia de Los Angeles - our drive into the hotel is a short 1/4 mile hard pack dirt road, take it slow.

Day 3 + 4

Today we head to the middle of Baja California and our next destination, the quaint town of San Ignacio; a natural oasis. This small town is nestled right on a natural spring pond and small river that gives life to the palm trees and elephant trees that are all around. This town is completely different from anything further north and its the first oasis town out of a couple in Baja California Sur. We will spend two nights here, with day 4 being our day to head out to the San Ignacio Lagoon to see some gray whales. We will make an early departure via Van to the lagoon where we will spend a couple hours in the water enjoying these gentle giants. For lunch we can do a short ride out to Santa Rosalia before coming back and having a great Dinner.

Day 5

Its time to head back north and towards the boarder! But this doesn’t mean we don’t get to enjoy the Sea of Cortez side of the peninsula. We rode south from Tijuana via Highway 1 on the pacific side, now we ride back up north a bit before heading east towards another beautiful bay lodge. This bay is another amazing ecosystem for whales and marine life, you can usually spot large whale sharks out in the water during summer months. This drive into the hotel is also dirt, but just ride slow and careful.

Day 6

Another beautiful sunrise on a coastal town of Baja California is the perfect wake up call before another great motorcycle ride! Today is a great ride up the Sea of Cortez coast towards the small town of San Felipe. We will decide to stop for a quick lunch and fuel up in San Felipe before making our second half push towards Ensenada. This next section is a very fun as we cut through some canyons and up and over the central mountain range. The final few miles to Ensenada are some of the best twisty roads you can ride! We make way to downtown for our hotel, check in, then grab your swimsuit and meet me in the hot tub!

Day 7

Well its finally time to say goodbye! Our last day in Baja is a short 70 mile ride to the border. But since we have a short day that means we can sleep in a little and head to one amazing breakfast joint in Valle de Guadalupe. Tour officially ends once we cross the border, we will meet up at the gas station, exchange your pesos back to dollars and head home. If you have rented a motorcycle or wanting to spend an extra day in San Diego, we will head back to our meet up hotel.
